Celebrating over 40 years of service to The Wadsworth Community
Wadsworth FISH can assist residents of Wadsworth or Wadsworth Township
(Ohio), by providing emergency financial assistance regardless of income level.
No money is ever given directly to the client, rather all payments are paid to
landlords, businesses, or utilities directly.
Individuals and families may also receive assistance with budgeting and money management.
Direction is also given to clients on how to contact other agencies in surrounding
counties who can further service their emergency needs.
Adopt a Family Christmas Program
The Wadsworth FISH Organization provides Christmas assistance for approximately 100
families each year in Wadsworth and Wadsworth Township.
This assistance includes gifts for the children and either a food voucher or a food basket for
the family in need.
Many of these families are adopted by groups in the community. For families not adopted by
a group, FISH volunteers will pack and deliver donated gifts.
If you or your organization would like to learn more about how to adopt a family, purchase
gifts for un-adopted families, collect, pack, or deliver gifts, please contact us over on the
Contact Us page.
